Moolaadé is an amazing film. It addresses the subject of female genital mutilation, commonly practiced in a number of African countries. One thing I miss about #MorganStateUniversity is my Black Film Appreciation class with Professor @Mkasante I’ve seen some great informational and influential films in that class. Had some amazing discussions, and subsequently great readings. If I ever went back I’d surely take that class again… For the third time! :)
